Midnight Moon was a dungeon synth project, inspired by the album The Devil's Songs by Cintecele Diavolui.
The first tune by Midnight Moon was written and recorded on February 19, 1998, not long after Danny had purchased a keyboard. In March, May and June some more mostly short songs followed, all composed, recorded and mixed using the keyboard. Five of those were selected and put together on an instrumental 25 minute self titled tape, that got released in early August and sort of had a concept centred around a pale moon and a graveyard. In the following months a few more tunes and keyboard ideas were written and recorded, but by late October 1998 Midnight Moon was put aside.
